- Trafficking Survivor

When ORR started working in 10-year-old Enock's community, everything changed. Suddenly, he could go to school full-time and did not have work in horrendous conditions in order to eat: all because of recurring donors.

Join IGNITE, our recurring giving community, to prevent trafficking of children, like Enock, and redeem his story for generations to come!

Sonia: A Visionary Entrepreneur Committed to Community Impact

Sonia arrived at ORR as an orphaned 8-year-old, desperate for food and struggling in life until she found refuge in ORR’s Safe Home. Sonia was able to access the education, mentorship, and resources she needed. She learned how to cook through ORR’s bakery and hospitality apprenticeship program on campus.

Today, we are proud to celebrate Sonia’s incredible achievements. She is ORR’s Head Cook for our Anti-trafficking Program and has a side business of selling fabric. She recently bought two pieces of land to one day build a bakery on and teach other young adults how to cook! Sonia is a visionary and entrepreneur who has a heart to give back to her community and inspire others like her.
